ViViEN Artificial Intelligence
Ecosystems previously operated on an outdated version of WordPress, and were heavily dependent on an external agency for even the most basic updates. The constant iterations to achieve the desired design, coupled with the prolonged turnaround time of 1-2 weeks for updates, underscored the necessity of transitioning the website in-house.
Leveraging my Webflow skills, I undertook the challenge of rebuilding and rebranding the site. Given the outdated state of many pages, the absence of critical product pages and pricing information, and overall poor user experience, this initiative aimed to not only address functional deficiencies but also elevate the site to meet the caliber expected in the software industry.
I worked with the VP of Marketing, Product team, and my direct Marketing Manager to refine the design and update the content. I worked in weekly sprints, focusing on 1-2 pages per week designed out in Webflow. To ensure a seamless workflow, I utilized Figma for initial wireframes, sharing and collaborating with the team to gather valuable feedback. I used Webflow's default components and creatively incorporated custom HTML elements for a custom-feel. I also implemented advanced features like Collection lists, filtering, animations, hubspot-button tracking and more to achieve the desired results.
We met weekly to review designs, troubleshoot any roadblocks, forecast the week ahead, and discuss feedback. All in all, the process took about 3 months from start to finish. I was heavily involved in launching the site, as well, configuring the back-end site settings in Webflow, connecting GA4, and the custom domain, in collaboration with our Development team.
By transitioning the website in-house, I not only saved the company thousands but also achieved remarkable results. Our Google Page Speed insights soared to a flawless 100% score for SEO and Accessibility, elevating our overall performance score from previously 25% to an impressive 90%. Beyond enhanced performance, our agility skyrocketed, we could now launch a new page within days compared to the previous weeks, and swiftly update site graphics and mini-banners with ease.
This transformation translated into a notable 40% year-over-year increase in traffic, attributed to successful email campaigns and Google display ads, alongside improved conversion rates. The revamped approach has given Marketing valuable metrics, shedding light on client and prospect behavior, and providing invaluable insights for the company as a whole.
